Job Summary:

At American Driver, we are seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to join our team. As a Class A driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, primarily east of the Mississippi River, with occasional runs to the West Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods safely and efficiently
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations, including hours of service and weight limits
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations
  • Participate in regular safety inspections and maintenance of equipment

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay rates, starting at $0.56 CPM
  • Opportunities for raises every three to six months, up to a top pay of $0.64 CPM
  • Full benefits package, including medical, dental, and PTO, after 30 days of employment
  • Home time: 14 days out, 2 days home
  • Training pay: $650/week, with hours behind the wheel

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Relatively clean driving record, with no speeding tickets over 15 mph, no serious accidents, and no DUIs in the last 5 years
  • No misdemeanors or felonies in the last 10 years, and none involving children
  • No failed or refused DOT drug or alcohol tests
