Job Title: Financial Controller

Join Four Rivers Community Health Center as a Financial Controller and play a crucial role in guiding financial decisions, establishing policies, and enforcing internal controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and confirming financial conditions, providing financial information to Executive Management, and ensuring compliance with GAP and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Financial Planning: Coordinate budgeting, procurement, and financial planning activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze accounting options and recommend financial actions to the executive team to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other relevant financial data.
  • Accounting and Auditing: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports.
  • Financial Security: Maintain financial security by following internal controls and securing financial information through data backups.
  • Policy Development: Develop and coordinate new policies and procedures regarding purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Special Projects: Support the CFO with special projects and workflow process improvements, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with a focus on financial project management, financial data analysis, and reporting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create channels of communication and recognize individual and system problems.
  • Abilities: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent time management and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

Position is in a well-lighted office environment, with occasional evening and weekend work. Daily activity is 80 percent sitting and 20 percent walking or standing.
