Job Summary

The Multifamily Acquisitions Senior Analyst/Associate role at Continental Realty is a key position in the acquisitions team, responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and underwriting efforts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in real estate analysis and financial modeling, with excellent communication skills to support the team's due diligence process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite investment opportunities, analyzing historical operations, creating key assumptions for projections, establishing valuation, and constructing sensitivity tables for scenario analysis.
  • Analyze economic, demographic, and real estate market data to support underwriting assumptions.
  • Evaluate rent rolls and operating statements of properties.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop underwriting assumptions for operating expenses, capital improvements, and financing.
  • Deal structuring involves understanding investment, financial, partnership operational, legal, tax, and other considerations while working with external consultants and in-house teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-5 years of real estate work experience and a good understanding of US real estate markets within real estate private equity, real estate banking, and operating companies.
  • Proven analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Argus is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments in a rapidly changing environment and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with colleagues as part of a team.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, to gain internal support and enthusiasm for initiatives.
  • Estimated salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
