Job Summary

Lifesteps is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Supervisor to join our team in the Homer City area.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to individuals with special needs, ensuring their dignity and respect are upheld.
  • Improve the quality of life for each individual by assisting them in learning to live and function independently in their home and community.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the Community Home, including supervising house staff.
  • Function as a Residential Companion and part of the direct care team.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years' experience working in a human service or related field.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Obtain a Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • First Aid/CPR certified within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience working in a human service, Special Education or related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1 year experience working in a human service or related field.
  • Supervisory experience and knowledge of 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 regulations (or equivalent regulations).
