Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Administrator to join our team at Guthrie. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing assigned Sections within the Guthrie Medical Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and collaborate with Section Leads to manage daily operational activities.
  • Work with administration to establish Section goals and ensure that goals and objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate Clinic-wide staffing needs with specific input from Section Leads.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals in collaboration with Section Leads.
  • Ensure that there is a comprehensive department-specific procedure manual for each section.
  • Communicate regularly and initiate meetings with physicians, support staff, and administration to address business needs of sections.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and other processes of hiring new employees, both internally and externally.
  • Analyze workflow in each Section to ensure efficient use of staff, space, and productivity.
  • Participate in the development of the Clinic annual budget and monitor financial performance of Sections on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare Sections for arrival of new physicians by identifying staffing, scheduling, and other provider-specific requirements.
  • Establish Section goals and oversee progress related to the Clinic RPM front-end initiative.
  • Comprehend and oversee referral processes related to Clinic managed care contracts.
  • Participate in Clinic committees and project teams as appropriate.
  • Develop a yearly plan of personal growth and development in collaboration with Administrative Director.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and specialized training in administrative/supervisory skills.
  • Two to three years of prior administrative/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in budgeting and planning is a desirable asset.
  • Excellent independent judgement, planning, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Advanced communication skills are required.
