The Role
You'll lead the development of advanced GNC systems for our diverse fleet of spacecraft, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and successful mission execution. Your expertise will drive the design, implementation, and testing of sophisticated navigation and control algorithms, as well as the development of flight software and simulation tools.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement GNC strategies for various spacecraft configurations
• Collaborate with Systems, Avionics, Flight Software, Mission Operations, and Ground Software teams to ensure smooth integration and testing
• Design and develop advanced navigation and control algorithms, including sensor fusion and autonomy tools
• Develop and maintain detailed GNC design documents, test plans, and schedules
• Coordinate with customers to ensure mission success and satisfaction
• Participate in internal and external design reviews, providing technical expertise and recommendations

Requirements:
• BS degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years of industry experience in GNC/ADCS, with 3+ years leading a team of direct reports
• Proven track record of developing and operating spacecraft/satellites
• Experience with Jira planning and workflow, IMU, reaction wheels, star trackers, gyroscopes, and other GNC hardware
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
