As a key member of our team, you will work in a 1:1 or 3:1 ratio with children between the ages of 8-21 diagnosed with autism, providing support and guidance in arts, crafts, and community outings. Our program is open on various Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am-2:00pm, offering flexible schedules and a competitive hourly rate of $19. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a child and gain valuable experience in special education.

Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 or 3:1 support with community independence and recreation/leisure activities
* Work under the supervision of an experienced Case Manager and gain experience using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement individualized plans for each child
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

* Meet the minimum age requirement of 18
* Eligibility to work in the United States
* Ability to pass a background check
* Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays
* Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance

Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following: push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly, according to client needs. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
