Job Opportunity

Sigma Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our facility in Bardstown, KY. This 13-week contract position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses to contribute their expertise and make a meaningful impact.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work in our Labor and Delivery Unit, providing direct patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A degree in nursing from an accredited institution (BSN preferred)
  • No less than 2 years of experience in a maternity ward setting
  • Current RN licensure and certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring
  • Demonstrated proficiency in stable certifications
