Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Advanced Maintenance Procedures: Conduct complex maintenance tasks that require advanced skills and expertise in construction and maintenance.
  • Provide Guidance and Instruction: Offer guidance and instruction to less experienced maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Specialize in Maintenance and Repair: Develop expertise in the maintenance and repair of specific systems, including electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and HVAC systems, ensuring that all work complies with safety regulations and standards.
  • Manage Maintenance Work Orders: Address maintenance work orders promptly and appropriately, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance work and its completion.
  • Identify and Order Supplies: Identify the proper equipment or machinery needed to complete a repair and order supplies and materials as needed.
  • Conduct Routine Inspections: Conduct routine property inspections and address maintenance concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with the Property Management Team: Collaborate with the property management team to deliver maintenance reports on each property.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Technical Training or Experience: A minimum of 1 year of technical training in a maintenance-related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • HVAC Certification: HVAC certification is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and customer service skills, are required.
  • Ability to Multi-Task and Meet Deadlines: The ability to multi-task and complete tasks by required deadlines is essential.
  • Physical Stamina: The ability to lift up to 100 pounds at a time and perform physically demanding tasks is required.
