The Senior Analyst for Global Category Marketing will be an integral part of the Global Category Marketing team.
This role is essential for crafting the comprehensive annual growth marketing strategy that aligns the T&HS Business Segments, Segment Marketers, Global Categories, and Regional Marketing objectives across Ingredion. This position offers significant exposure to leadership, high-visibility projects, and opportunities to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing the annual growth marketing strategy that aligns with T&HS Business Segments, Segment Marketers, Global Categories, and Regional Marketing priorities.
- Collaborating with marketers from various segments, Global Category Leads, and regional commercial teams to support the strategy's development.
- Evaluating and sizing potential new category markets and innovation opportunities, guiding the organization on strategic focus areas.
- Working closely with segments, regions, and the Insights team to assess and prioritize business opportunities.
- Assisting in creating templates and tools for the Growth Marketing Plan to enhance efficiency in plan delivery.
- Prioritizing growth opportunities across different Business Segments and Categories.
- Utilizing advanced analytical tools (e.g., PowerBI, AI-Co-Pilot, Microsoft Suite) to streamline data analysis and intelligence gathering.
This role is ideal for candidates who possess:
- Experience in evaluating and prioritizing business opportunities using both external and internal data sources.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across various organizational levels.
- A solid understanding of the food industry and ingredient business.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Qualified candidates will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy or category marketing, preferably in a B2B context within the food and beverage sector.
- A robust strategic marketing and data analytics skill set, with familiarity in CPG and Food & Beverage databases (e.g., Euromonitor, Nielsen, Innova, Mintel) preferred.
- Strong quantitative skills for assessing and analyzing complex datasets.
