Job Title: Meat Department Associate

At Price Rite, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Department Associate to join our team. As a Meat Department Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and organized meat department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including the refrigeration equipment, display cases, and work surfaces.
  • Restock merchandise, rotate products, and ensure accurate pricing and labeling.
  • Operate equipment such as balers, hi-lo's, power jacks, and slicing machines.
  • Work cooperatively with other associates to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations accurately.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 80-90 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices and ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
