Key Responsibilities- Expertise in Gas Storage: Over 10 years of dedicated experience in gas storage systems.
- Integrity Assessment: Function as a specialist in evaluating well and reservoir integrity.
- Inspection Tools: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with cased hole inspection tools, including cement bond logs and ultrasonic thickness measurements, to assess corrosion growth rates and remaining life of gas storage wells.
- Corrosion Analysis: Utilize reservoir engineering and geoscience knowledge to identify corrosion trends and collaborate with teams to implement preventive measures.
- Pressure Modeling: Proficient in using burst pressure models such as Barlow and API RP 579 Level II for at least 5 years.
- Research Leadership: Lead and develop research initiatives to assess downhole inspection tool performance and pressure models.
- Data Analytics: Strong capabilities in data analysis, statistics, and programming to create probabilistic assessment models.
- Field Supervision: Oversee downhole well inspections and lead field tests of inspection tools as required.
- Consultant Management: Supervise third-party consultants and Ph.D. level researchers to ensure project success.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
Hourly Rate: $40 - $70 per hour
Compensation may vary based on individual skills, experience, and educational background.
