Career Opportunity: Phlebotomist

CSL Plasma is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in the efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors.

• Perform venipuncture on donors to begin the pheresis process, ensuring compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Evaluate vein performance and make necessary corrections to expedite donation time and ensure product quality and donor safety.
• Monitor donor flow on the donor floor and alert Group Leader or Supervisor of any issues.
• Collect arm samples or whole blood samples from donors for testing.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, adhering to HSE and OSHA policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or healthcare environment preferred.

• Ability to complete routine forms and conduct routine oral communications.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals and extreme temperatures.
