Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and compassion.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying and prioritizing patient needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and report patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

The Orthopedic Neuro Surgical Unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, focusing on adult post-operative orthopedic traumas and Neurosurgery. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop excellent critical thinking and assessment skills, using a wide variety of clinical skills to provide exceptional patient care.
