Video Editor Job Description

Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Video Editor to join our IT Training Department in Irving, TX.

This position is responsible for creating engaging video training content on the use of our client's software applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience with DaVinci or Camtasia, understanding of Micro Learnings, and expertise in creating technical content and documentation.

This role may also involve assisting in creating training deliverables for other enterprise learning needs.

The successful candidate will have a high degree of comfort using technology and managing multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop video training content on software applications
  • Collaborate with IT implementation specialists and subject matter experts to understand learning requirements
  • Use expertise to create or update training deliverables
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Instructional Design, Business, Information Technology, Education, or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years' work experience in a software or technical training development role, or technical writing role
  • Experience with DaVinci or Camtasia and understanding of Micro Learnings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work independently
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Camtasia Studio, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, MadCap Flare, Adobe Robohelp, or similar software
  • Graphic design experience
