Location: Schaumburg, IL

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000

Working Hours: Flexible schedule from 7 AM to 9 AM to 4 PM - 6 PM, Monday to Friday, with a total of 8 hours per day including a 1-hour lunch break. Note: Remote work is not available.

Company Overview: ESPO Corporation specializes in the design of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical systems for educational institutions and various commercial properties. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical design projects from inception to completion.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for design and drafting tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Possess project management skills to oversee timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design for commercial structures.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; familiarity with Revit MEP is desirable.
  • Experience with Revit is considered a benefit.
