Staff RN, Med/Surg, Stroke Unit

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff RN to join our Med/Surg, Stroke Unit team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
About the RoleAs a Staff RN in our Med/Surg, Stroke Unit, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work closely with our patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care, including communication with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
To be considered for this role, you must possess a current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is also required. Advanced certification in a field of specialty and nursing experience in a hospital setting are preferred, as is a Bachelor's degree.
