Job Summary

Providence Health & Service is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Seward, Alaska. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. You will also provide technical expertise to Providence Seward Medical Center Lab and other healthcare institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
  • Provide technical expertise to Providence Seward Medical Center Lab and other healthcare institutions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely laboratory results.
  • Develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols to ensure quality and safety.

Requirements
  • National Medical Laboratory Scientist certification or equivalent.
  • 1 year of clinical laboratory experience.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
