Job Title: Senior Integration Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Developer to join our team at Preston Hunter Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing modern integration applications in both public and on-premise cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and operate integration solutions, either greenfield or reimplementation of existing solutions following our operating procedures and SDLC guidelines.
  • Work closely with internal technical teams to design, prototype, develop, and maintain complex applications.
  • Perform proof of concepts to evaluate and prove out non-functional requirements and options.
  • Use toolsets that adhere to the frameworks of the technical stack complying with our organization's standards.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to transition work to other development teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
  • Required experience building CI/CD pipelines and writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for both private and public cloud deployments using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Required experience developing production-ready applications and microservices in Java using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Required experience delivering Software Integration solutions.
  • Required experience collaborating and coordinating with multiple departments, developers, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors.
  • Required proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Required experience delivering cloud-ready solutions using modern delivery practices with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Github Actions.
  • Requires strong communication skills and experience mentoring other developers.
  • Required experience with Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Camel, Apache Kafka, and API Gateway products.
  • Preferred experience with a variety of messaging protocols like SOAP, REST/JSON, OpenAPI, and GraphQL.
  • Preferred experience working with Azure messaging solutions like API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Hub.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science or related field (Required).
  • or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required.
Work Location:
  • Will be required to be on-site at our facilities two days per week or more frequently based on the business needs and as determined by the Manager.
