Job Overview

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring product quality. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing effective methods and standards for both new and modified components, working closely with design engineering and plant operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design and operational teams to set up methods and standards for new or modified parts.
  • Assess, document, and implement solutions for process inefficiencies while focusing on cost reduction strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to meet plant objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory management, and cost efficiency, emphasizing teamwork.
  • Plan and execute capital projects aimed at improving material flow and minimizing expenses, including overseeing the installation of new machinery.
  • Assist in the launch of new products and select suitable tooling for manufacturing processes.
  • Provide ongoing production support in areas such as safety, quality assurance, line balancing, tooling engineering, inventory oversight, and cost management.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing, Industrial, Agricultural, or Mechanical disciplines.
  • At least 6 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% as required.
