Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical, psychiatric, and individual care to our youth residents, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for working with adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough health assessments and maintain accurate documentation
  • Develop and implement individualized health education plans, addressing topics such as general health care, medication management, and nutrition
  • Administer medications as prescribed and provide resource materials to patients
  • Collaborate with medical and psychiatric providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in treatment planning and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Active licensure by the AZ Board of Nursing Education and Nurse Registration, either LPN or RN
  • Eligibility to obtain Level I fingerprint clearance and a clear background check
  • Two years of experience working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities, preferred
  • Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing principles, medications, and community resources, preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
