Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at King Soopers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately, handling various forms of payment and tenders.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention.
  • Stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads to provide customers with relevant information.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers and employees.
  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identifying unsafe conditions, accidents, or issues.
  • Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notifying appropriate departments or store managers of any items in need of repair.
  • Provide support and assistance to customers, including answering questions about products and services.
Requirements
  • Customer service experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
