About the Role:
Gandara Mental Health Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our Outpatient and Recovery Services Division. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to children, adolescents, and adults in our Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual psychiatric evaluations and assessments for immediate needs
- Provide continuity of care through medication follow-up appointments
- Document assessments, progress notes, and collateral contacts
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric needs
- Ensure quality care is delivered in a therapeutic environment
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts
- 1 year of experience working with psychiatric disorders (preferred)
