**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced BC/BE Psychiatrist for a Medical Director role in our Adult Acute Care unit. As a leader, you will oversee the medical direction of our behavioral health services, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve clinical excellence.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, excellent communication skills, and experience in leadership roles. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and driving clinical innovation, we encourage you to apply.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide medical direction for our Adult Acute Care unit, overseeing patient care and developing strategies for improvement.
- Determine admissions from the Emergency Department, working closely with our APPs and medical staff.
- Consult on the medical tower, partnering with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
**Requirements:**
We require a BC/BE Psychiatrist with a proven track record of leadership and clinical excellence. You should be board-certified or eligible in psychiatry, with a strong background in adult acute care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with our team.
