Westfield State University, a highly residential campus with approximately 55% of our 3,100 full-time undergraduate students living on campus, invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Criminal Justice. The Department of Criminal Justice at Westfield State University is the first such program in Massachusetts and is considered a premier program in the Commonwealth with more than 6,500 alumni.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in criminal justice, criminology or a related discipline, and a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service. They will be expected to teach courses across different modalities, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid classes, and to develop innovative pedagogy for the classroom. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000 annually.
