Houseman/Porter

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Houseman/Porter at The Foundry, a chic and industrial stylish hotel and banquet venue in WNY.

• Set up and break down events, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests
• Perform late-night weekend set-ups and cleanings, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization
• Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the building, including painting, light electrical work, and minor repairs
• Operate a 14' box truck to transport banquet props and light furnishings between properties, requiring a valid driver's license
• Lift up to 50 pounds, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance
• Work collaboratively with our team to achieve exceptional results and provide outstanding customer service

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service
• Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
• Flexible schedule, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and deadlines
• Outgoing and friendly attitude, with excellent communication skills and a positive demeanor
• Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and composed in fast-paced environments
• Comfortable with cleaning tasks, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
