InfuCare Rx Inc, a leading provider of specialty infusion services, is seeking a highly skilled Home Infusion Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Home Infusion Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and administering IVIG infusions in the comfort of patients' homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer IVIG infusions to patients in their homes, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of patient responses.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, current health status, and medication regimens to identify potential risks and complications.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on infusion therapy, medication management, and disease management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted RN license.
- 3 years' experience as an RN, preferably with some home care experience and exceptional IV skills.
- A Bachelor of Science in nursing, an associate degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
- Successfully pass annual competency checks.
- Clean background and criminal record, and must pass a drug test.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.
