Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bluebird Hunter Lodge. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our quality and presentation expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation specifications
- Ensure that all mise en place is prepared for respective stations as well as proper forecasting of prep needs for assigned stations
- Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Perform duties to include setup and breakdown of the station, and cleanliness of the work area including all surfaces, equipment, floor, and dish room functions as necessary
Requirements:
- Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred
- Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
- Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
