Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Job Summary:We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is committed to providing exceptional service to our patients, families, and community. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to teamwork, and a patient-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients, in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including ordering and administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including electronic medical records and other relevant documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department or critical care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
