The UI Developer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our high-traffic websites. This includes a solid understanding of front-end design patterns and principles, such as Responsive Web Design, MVC, BEM, OOCSS, Event Delegation, Modules, Singletons, Prototypes, Mixins, Publish/Subscribe, XHR, Server-side vs client-side, etc.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with performance optimization tools (i.e. Lighthouse) and techniques (image compression, lazy loading, bundling, sprites, etc.). Additionally, they will be familiar with Node, NVM, and NPM, as well as Vanilla JS (ES6) and modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (examples - Vue, React, Polymer, Angular, Handlebars, jQuery, and others).
