POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is pivotal in enhancing branch resources, customer deposits, and overall revenue by establishing strong connections with both new and existing clients. The individual will assess clients' current and future financial requirements and align them with Seacoast Bank's offerings. Additionally, the Client Advisor will perform teller duties, managing transactions for clients both in-person and via drive-thru services. Building trust and confidence through integrity and authenticity is essential.
This position requires travel across designated counties, with a primary base at the Lantana branch when not on the road.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Engagement
- Consistently engage in relationship development, including:
- Preparing for diverse client interactions
- Establishing rapport
- Utilizing effective questioning techniques to discern clients' financial aspirations
- Aligning client needs with Seacoast Bank's products and services
- Clearly articulating and confidently presenting Seacoast Bank's offerings
- Demonstrating a proven track record in closing sales based on client requirements
- Requesting referrals from both new and existing clients
- Exhibiting strong listening skills and communicating effectively in various situations.
- Possessing a solid understanding of customer-facing technology and assisting clients in utilizing self-service options.
- Responding promptly to client inquiries and service requests.
- Identifying appropriate resources for complex financial inquiries.
- Balancing organizational objectives with client requests while managing potential risks.
- Adopting new technologies and staying informed about industry trends to foster a culture of innovation.
- Participating in community and charitable initiatives.
- Delivering presentations on banking products/services at networking events.
- Demonstrating strong work ethics and teamwork, collaborating with colleagues to build trusting relationships.
- Pursuing NMLS registration status.
- Gaining proficiency in all consumer deposit and lending products and processes.
- Developing a foundational understanding of small business deposit and lending products.
- Exhibiting proficiency in outbound calling techniques.
- Identifying referral opportunities with internal partners.
- Demonstrating expertise in customer-facing technology and assisting clients with self-service options.
Operational Duties
- Opening and managing accounts, performing maintenance, processing transactions, and adhering to the bank's policies to mitigate risks.
- Ensuring compliance with AML/BSA regulations and operational procedures; communicating updates to team members.
- Practicing ethical sales behaviors in line with the Associate Code of Conduct.
- Balancing cash drawers daily and ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Following management directives to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Adhering to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct and safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 6 months of cash handling experience is necessary.
- A college degree or 1+ years of experience in retail sales or financial services is preferred.
- Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability during operational hours and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Proficiency in using various devices and Microsoft Office Suite.
