As a key member of our wraparound services team, you will work closely with children, youth, and families to provide trauma-responsive support and empower them to lead fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the Core Practice Model elements related to the role and integration of the IHBS on the IFCCS Child and Family Team, including communicating with team members, making assignments, and documenting work in the clinical record.
- Assist in the ongoing development and evaluation of the Child and Family Plan, including strengths chats with children, collecting and understanding educational placements and experiences, and aiding with DMH paperwork and progress note review.
- Engage with assigned families, providing concrete services to assist with tasks of daily living, such as educational support, transportation, parenting assistance, home management assistance, recreational activities, and behavior management.
- Participate in coordination of Wraparound training and consultation.
- Mentor and orient new CFS staff during their first 45 days of employment, providing field-based observation as needed.
- Maintain a schedule of CFS staff assignments and availability, specifically the weekend calendar.
- Assist with arranging respite placements or resources.
- Assist with coordination of CFS assignments and caseloads.
- Participate in 24-hour on-call system.
- Masters preferred or BA/BS plus two years' experience working in IFCCS, Wraparound, or like program.
- Five years' experience working with special needs children and their families is required.
- Skills in engaging and working with parents as partners and in working successfully with families from diverse ethnic and cultural groups.
- Crisis management experience is helpful.
- Valid CA Driver's license.
