Job Summary

Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team in Windham, CT. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the cook in food preparation and service, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Deliver meal carts, set and clean assigned dining areas to serve residents.
  • Accurately record temperatures on refrigerators and maintain kitchen sanitation.
  • Wash and store dishes, adhering to overall sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • 1 year of food service experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all levels within the community.
  • Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents, understanding their special needs.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • ServSafe certification is desirable.
  • High school diploma or GED degree.
What We Offer

Competitive starting rate of $16.00/hour.
