We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a Kansas City, MO school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to assess students' needs and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting, either individually or in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support students' communication development.
- Document progress and make data-driven decisions to modify therapy plans as needed.
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Missouri State SLP License (active or eligible for activation).
- Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
