Patient Care Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Texoma Medical Center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the direction of a licensed nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Perform various tasks as competency documentation designates.
Requirements:
- Reading and numerical competency
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines
- Effective communication and time management skills
