Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a highly qualified and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 24/25 school year in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals and ensure a cohesive approach to education.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies that support students' communication and academic success.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to improve services and outcomes for students.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Maryland state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
