Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in Illinois.
  • BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses with less than 12 months of experience to enroll in BSN completion program.
  • Current AHA CPR certification.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts in order to accommodate staffing.
  • Certain positions may require taking call.

Work Environment:

Our work environment includes the probability of exposure to adverse, hazardous, or unpleasant conditions while caring for the sick. You will be required to assist in the evacuation of patients in the event of a fire or other disaster and work with potentially infectious specimens and patients. You will also be required to respond to patients in a timely manner and access all areas of the unit. You will be expected to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and use patient handling equipment when necessary.
