Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Delivering electrical engineering solutions for NAVFAC installations.
  • Creating and evaluating electrical designs, specifications, and schematics.
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborating with various engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
  • Conducting assessments and feasibility studies of electrical systems.
  • Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

This role is contingent upon contract award, and multiple positions may be filled from this announcement.

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is between $118,000 and $141,000.

Work Environment:
The work environment may involve moderate noise levels typical of an office setting with computers and printers, as well as occasional loud noise from operational equipment.

Physical Requirements:
While fulfilling job responsibilities, employees are expected to sit, stand, communicate, and hear effectively. Regular use of hands and fingers for computer operation is required. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel is expected, estimated at 11-20%.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, UFC).
  • Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • An accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • An active Secret Clearance.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in designing and evaluating electrical systems for government or military facilities.
