About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Clinical Speech Language Pathologist - PRN to join our team As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing speech language pathology services to patients, including evaluation, treatment, and education programs to restore speech, language, and swallowing abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients within the speech pathology treatment plan.
  • Modify therapy program and goals as needed.
  • Perform thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner.
  • Enter charges accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, departmental coworkers, and members of the medical care team.
  • Provide education to patients, family, and staff.
  • Supervise students and volunteers.
  • Clinical fellowship mentors and those in their clinical fellowship period will follow the American Speech Language Hearing Association supervision guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in speech language pathology.
  • Current certification as a Speech Language Pathlogist (SLP).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
