Johnson Controls International is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and support the growth of our Data Center business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their facilities are running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving issues with air-cooled chillers and large roof-top ducted units.
- Commission and start-up new Data Center facilities, ensuring all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Perform aftermarket service and maintenance on existing Data Center facilities, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with local market technicians to ensure seamless service delivery and support.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve facility efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of practical experience working with air-cooled or large roof-top ducted units, with a strong background in HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to travel up to 60% within North America to support Data Center customers and projects.
- Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, good driving record, and valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal, digital, and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a passion for learning and applying new skills on the job.
