Contractor Sought

We are looking for reliable and professional independent contractors to join our team as Pharma Couriers. As a contractor, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering pharmacy medications and medical supplies to our customers.

Services Required

The services required for this contract include:

• Routed Deliveries - Varying routes with a set recurring schedule, which may change unexpectedly based on customer needs.
• STAT/On-Demand - Last-minute pickups and orders dispatched from a route manager or customer.
• Backup/Standby - Filling in for route voids.

Requirements for Contract

To be eligible for this contract, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be between 21 and 75 years of age.
• Be attentive to detail.
• Live within 25 miles of zip code 60007.
• Own a reliable and registered sprinter van or cargo van (2009 or newer).
• Have and maintain state minimum requirements for bodily injury and property damage as primary auto insurance.
• At your choice, maintain your own qualifying workers' compensation insurance or participate in the Occupational Accident Insurance program for a weekly fee.
• Be able to complete contractor-qualifying screenings and online delivery preparation modules.
• Have a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last three years.
• Have a smartphone for GPS order tracking and order scanning.
• Supply a cooler with reusable ice-packs for transporting temperature-controlled specimens.
• Be willing to drive in inclement weather to service our customers.
• Adhere to customer-required professional appearance standards.

Contracting with Associated Couriers

Our 1099 contracts are offered to interested and qualifying contractors on a first-come, first-served basis. The process to contract with Associated Couriers takes approximately 2-5 days start to finish. We have a strict policy to select contractors out of the process once they have become inactive during the pre-contracting phase.
