About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at HSHS St. John's Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound scans to patients, working closely with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients, utilizing ultrasound equipment in accordance with physician orders and policies.
  • Assess and survey the anatomy and pathophysiology of patients, utilizing ultrasound technology in adult and pediatric cases.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an allied health program or currently enrolled in a related field.
  • Associate's degree in allied health or applied science preferred.
  • Experience in sonography/ultrasound preferred.
  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
