About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Synerfac Technical Staffing. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for negotiating with vendors to secure the best possible prices and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible prices and services.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to determine when purchase orders need to be placed or changed.
  • Develop new supply sources where vendors are inadequate.
  • Examine bids and make awards.
  • Establish account/credit and terms.
  • Negotiate blanket purchase orders when appropriate and monitor costs during the time period.
  • Work with the receiving department to resolve issues.
  • Support Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Keep all personnel up-to-date on purchased inventory by running reports and maintaining active vendor accounts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to negotiate with subcontractors and vendors for the best quality and pricing.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
