Provider Contract Food Service has been dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary and hospitality services for nearly two decades. We are currently looking to hire a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team.

Position Overview

The Pastry Chef will be responsible for crafting a variety of baked goods, including breads, rolls, pizza dough, and assorted pastries, under the guidance of the bakery supervisor or manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a high-volume baking environment.
  • Proficient in reading and executing recipes accurately.
  • Basic understanding of measurements and conversions.
  • Fundamental cake decorating abilities.
  • Experience in plating desserts and cakes for service.
  • Ensure the dessert station and refrigerator are consistently stocked.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace and bakery tools.
  • Familiarity with bakery supplies and commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Involves repetitive motion tasks.
  • Requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
