As a Patient Care Technician/Phlebotomist on our 3 West team, you will provide direct patient care and perform selected therapeutic interventions and diagnostic procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety and a focus on delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe and efficient direct patient care with consideration for age-specific needs
Promote patient safety through adherence to protocols, policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines, and Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals
Actively participate in and support departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals
Maintain clinical competency according to unit-specific standards
Requirements:
High school or GED completion
Certified Nursing Assistant documentation for Certified PCT position; must maintain current Pennsylvania license
Hospital experience preferred; phlebotomy and ECG experience preferred
Certified in B.L.S. for health care providers
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
