Job Title: Hair and Makeup Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hair and Makeup Artist to join our Creative Team at Quince. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair and makeup styling for commercial photo shoots, working closely with our Art Director and Brand Stylist to ensure that our brand guidelines are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional hair and makeup styling for commercial photo shoots, adhering to Quince's quality and productivity standards.
  • Collaborate with the on-set production team to achieve daily shot list targets and ensure a smooth production process.
  • Stay up-to-date with seasonal beauty trends and interpret new beauty directions while respecting Quince's identity and beauty guidelines.
  • Maintain strict standards of quality control and make recommendations on workflows and processes.
  • Work closely with the creative director to execute the overall vision and look and feel for each in-studio and location shoots.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant Cosmetology field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in editorial or commercial production, preferably in a luxury or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong knowledge in all hair textures and makeup tones, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of photography and styling skills.
  • Ability to carry out creative processes in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Deliverables:
  • Create brand guidelines for hair and makeup based on collaboration with Art Director and Brand Stylist.
  • Create and implement monthly projections for photo asset production based on anticipated product launches.
  • Create workflows to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery.
