Job Title: General Cafeteria Worker Substitute

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Cafeteria Worker Substitute to join our team at Regional School District 7.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in the cafeteria, including food preparation, service, and cash handling. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of school food preparation and service operations, as well as deli and/or salad bar preparation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation and service in the cafeteria
  • Operate cash registers as needed
  • Work collaboratively with cafeteria staff, students, and custodial department
  • Meet the requirements for fingerprinting and references
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of school food preparation and service operations
  • Deli and/or salad bar preparation skills
  • Cash Register operation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
