Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team at Remelt Sources Incorporated. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing materials, adhering to customer specifications and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate truck scale and radiation detectors to ensure accurate material handling.
  • Unload and load trucks, verifying loads against paperwork and purchase orders.
  • Store materials in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Report damaged items to the Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
  • Operate saws and wheelabrators as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Cross-train and back-up the Charge Make-Up team as required.
  • Perform sonic testing on bars and billets, evaluating scrap material composition.
  • Participate in plant safety activities and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Deliver shipping and receiving paperwork to the Warehouse Supervisor upon completion.
  • Assist in inventory counts and evaluate scrap material using analytical equipment.
  • Prepare samples for process lab analysis and deliver them to the lab as needed.
  • Set up ink jet lines and complete production routers accurately.
  • Use handheld analyzers to check chemistry of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Seal, band, and weigh packed material according to work order instructions.
  • Accurately report final yields and grind out embedded shot as needed.
  • Operate burning bars and ladle gates safely.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to work effectively with the Quality team to evaluate incoming scrap and prepare samples for analysis.
