Job Summary

Kettering Health is seeking a skilled Vascular Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assist physicians in providing patient care and perform medical assistant duties.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing patient care, including coordinating pacemaker/ICD clinics and assisting with non-invasive testing.
  • Perform medical assistant duties, such as charting, vitals, and preparing injections.
  • May be requested to substitute for other office personnel and conduct responsibilities of the front desk/check-out.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of EKG interpretation required.
  • Must have six months experience as a Medical Assistant or have graduated from an accredited MA or Medical Office Management program.
  • Within one year from date of hire, continued employment will require successful attainment of MA, RMA, CCMA, CMA (AAMA) or NCMA certification.
  • Ability to communicate and relate well with office staff, ancillary departments, and public.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electronic medical records preferred.
