Job Title: Registered Nurse RN CVICU

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU at our Round Rock Medical Center location.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in our 26-bed mixed acuity unit. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU setting, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU setting, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
